Hi Luxe Look readers! Today I’m excited to introduce you to our guest blogger, Sarah from Raving Fashionista! She is an East Coast blogger with lots of fun and unique styling ideas that I know you’re going to love. Today she’s sharing some styling tips for one of our jeweled headbands. And make sure you read all the way to the bottom because there’s a little surprise for your care of Sarah (hint: you might be able to win your own Bliss Jeweled Headband!).
Wearing a headband with your hair down is a no-brainer. Just tuck it in, whether your hair is curly or straight, and you’re ready to go. Simple as it may be, and as much as I’m drawn to the hairpieces (especially when they’re embellished), I find I tend to look a little too cutesy or schoolgirlish when I wear them the traditional way. Not one to let that stop me from picking up one of the easiest accessories to transform a look, I’ve been playing around with new ways of styling my L. Erickson Bliss Jeweled Headband. Variations on working them into different updos has become my go-to way to let these jeweled headbands add that little extra something to any outfit.
Tucked between rows of spiraling braids for a glamorous vibe.
Paired with a messy top knot for run-out-the-door-chic kind of look.
Adding the finishing touch to a swept back, low bun.
Incorporating sparkle to simple milkmaid braids and a basic tee.
And my favorite funky way to reboot the classic headband isn’t actually an updo, it’s with what I’m calling the “mullet-effect”; business in the front, party in the back.
