I have long thick hair and this jaw holds my hair up so well. The size is perfect for holding up a twisted pony tail and the top of the pony tail spreads out, looking really cool! I have several colors and duplicates of some for different syling. My favorite color is wildcat. I have bought several pieces in that color, giving me alot of versatility in styling. Try one, you will love it!

I have several of these and panic when I misplace. This size is the best for medium length, fine hair. It holds my hair and the cut out actually makes it look less"buly" and makes it lighter weight, another plus for fine hair.
