I just got this cascade today and I'm already in love. It securely holds your hair in what I call a "faux chignon" and looks much more elegant than my usual black hair bands. (I'll save those for the gym!). You can also rest your ahead against the back of the couch or airplane seat with this in. I might get the black as well!

I have long hair and live in Florida where it is usually hot and humid. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. Sometimes I straighten it, other times I leave it curly and it often frizzes. Regardless of whether my hair is straight and sleek or a big curly mass, this clip is quick and easy to use when I need to get my hair up. It looks good, holds very well and it doesn't add weight. In addition, if I want to sit and read and rest my head against the seat back, this clip doesn't get in the way.
